Glyn has been a worker and activist in housing, urban regeneration and the voluntary sector for twenty years. He has worked in these fields for local authorities, housing associations, non-profit organisations, as a self-employed consultant and in the private sector. Glyn has an MSc in housing studies from the LSE and an MA in United States Studies. He has also been involved in a wide range of community campaigns, particularly on housing and defending public services.
Glyn is currently doing a PhD as a Research Fellow at the Cities Institute, where he is studying mixed use property development and its impact on local communities.

• (2004 – 2007) Working for a local authority, monitoring and developing tenant management organisations.
• (2002) Sam Aaronovitch Award for paper in Local Economy journal
• Glyn has had many articles published in the housing and labour movement press. He contributed to the 2009 report of the all-party House of Commons Council Housing Group.
