Research Interests and Expertise

• individual and collective decision-making
• cognitive strategies for dealing with complexity
• social network mapping and analysis
• sustainable urban regeneration planning and management with focus on accessibility of public transport & urban space

Antje Witting has experience of working in the voluntary sector and local government as well as higher education. She has an MA in Public Service Management and a MA equivalent German Diploma in Political Science. Antje is currently also studying for a PhD in Politics and Management. Her research interests include policy and discourse networks in sustainable urban regeneration planning and management.

• [Ongoing] North Sea Region Electric Mobility Network (E-Mobility NSR), INTEREG IVB Project (with partners from Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium, United Kingdom, and Norway): research into low-carbon vehicles and infrastructure, including policy analysis
  
• [2005-10] Accessibility and User Needs in Transport (AUNT-SUE), EPSRC SUE Programme (with UCL, Loughborough, L.B.Camden, Herts,C.C.): operational project management; research into Greenwich Peninsula (London) regeneration, including policy analysis, survey and interviews with residents and stakeholders, street level/ built environment audit
• [2005-11] HEIF consultation: research support, including stakeholder surveys, data analysis using SPSS and Snap
